RESILIENT DESIGN & DISASTER RELIEF
Resilient Design Services
Resilient Design means planning and designing our built environment to sustain the probable impacts caused by climate change and natural disasters.
As a California-based studio and USGBC CA member, we recognize the need to provide climate-ready new construction and retrofits to limit our carbon footprint and address the increased risks associated with climate-change.
Resilient design services are integrated within all of our projects as well as offered a-la-carte on a consultation-basis to prospective clients, our community and AEC industry colleagues.
Certified Safety Assessment Professional
Trained through CAL OES (Office of Emergency Services) and the American Institute of Architects, we are certified to deploy on a volunteer basis to perform building safety assessments as part of broader response efforts to return communities safely to their homes and public spaces post-disaster. This includes assessment work nationally in areas affected by flood, earthquake, storms or wildfires.
Rebuild Reduced-Fee Services
Since establishing in 2016, See Arch has been volunteering and offering reduced-fee services to those impacted by wildfires at home in Sonoma County (Tubbs and Complex Fires) as well as the greater Los Angeles area (Eaton & Palisades Fires). With experience in fire-hardening and expedited rebuilding, we continue to evolve detail libraries and procedures to extend our reduced-fee services to the furthest reach possible.
